As a Department of Health and Social Care-owned NHS company, we work in partnership with local health and care systems to create, manage and optimise the community infrastructure that makes neighbourhood health possible.

Over the past year, CHP has delivered its largest ever capital investment programme, investing £17.84 million across the NHS LIFT estate and creating capacity for more than 260,000 additional patient appointments annually. Through programmes such as PACE (Productivity Acceleration in Community Estates) and the national Neighbourhood Rebuild Programme, we are helping systems bring together services, increase access to diagnostics and community care, and support new models of integrated care in the places where people live.

As Chief Operating Officer, you will play a central role in shaping the next chapter of CHP’s journey. You will lead a national operational portfolio spanning property, estates and customer services, ensuring that our buildings are not simply well managed, but actively enable better care, stronger partnerships and improved outcomes. Working closely with colleagues, customers, NHS partners and government stakeholders, you will help ensure that CHP continues to provide practical, scalable solutions that support the future of neighbourhood health.

What makes CHP unique is the combination of public purpose and commercial discipline that sits at the heart of our model. We manage 308 NHS LIFT facilities and support more than 1,300 health and care tenants, whilst maintaining a relentless focus on service delivery, customer experience and social value. In 2025/26 alone, our activities generated £57.1 million of social value and supported more than 82,000 community initiatives across England.
